Finally! Success! I bought some new sandpaper, wonderful, lovely, perfect 60 grit sandpaper. I also picked up a sanding block:
The sanding block made all the difference in the world. In under two hours I was able to get the whole thing sanded down pretty well:
There are still some spots I want to touch up before painting it, but I’m so close, really close. I should be able to get it painting on Thursday and be done with final coats easily by the weekend. I can’t wait to get it into the house and stuff it full of knit stocks and handmade pj’s.
I’m so excited to get it done because that also means I can start on the next apartment redress project :)
