A Postal Giveaway & a winner!

The last Give Away was for two issues of CRAFTzine (vol. 07 & 08). And well, I only had one entry! Haha. I’m not sure what happened because the last giveaway had a dozen or so entries. That’s okay. It must have just been lost in all the posting I’ve been doing lately. So by default, Tina from New Zealand is the winner :) She really lucked out when she decided to go ahead and drop her entry into the mail. Those are pretty good odds :P So for super great odds of winner, you should enter the Give Away I’m kicking off today.

Being from New Zealand I’m pretty sure she can’t get a subscription to Craftzine, but she does read the blog and loves (like me) all the lovely projects they show, link to, and provide. I’m hoping this will be a really great treat for her.

Now, on another note. If you sent in an entry from the first give away (for the roving) and have not heard back from me yet, don’t fear! I have been making post cards like mad in my spare time and writing replies to each and every entry. You should be getting some handmade post cards in the mail in the next couple of weeks. I just picked up a ton of stamps, so I’m all set :)

I loved getting your post cards and letters. They really made my day and anytime I’m in a slump, I read a few and it picks me right back up. Some were particularly touching and maybe I was just feeling a little emotional or something, but a few even made me tear up a bit. So thank you. Thank you so much! You are the best readers ever!

And on yet another note. I got hit with food poisoning on Saturday (hence why it took me so long to get the tutorial up) and haven’t been able to work on the sewing chair much. I am pretty confident that I’ll get it finished up today (i’m perched on a stool right now and it’s just not as nice), so I’ll be showing it off tomorrow. And from my cleaning binge last Friday, I’ll be able to show you the finished dresser in my cleaned up bedroom! Hooray!
