Well, I met a huge goal today. I rode my bike to work today and home again. Why is this such a big deal? Because when I first moved here I said “before the summer is over today I’m going to ride up the big long hill”. It had been kind of a huge riding block for me. And today, I did it. And you know what? It was easy. And you know what else? I’m going to do it again tomorrow.
I did do something pretty silly though. I forgot to take a picture of today’s pattern before I sent it on its way to the Quad Cities with Jason. It was my Dad’s birthday present. Woops. I have so much to do with Craft Leftovers Monthly this weekend that I don’t have time to rewrite another pattern. So I’ll leave you a link to this awesome project I saw on Craftzine. It’s for homemade fabric clocks! Sweet! The funny thing is I was just at Hobby Lobby looking at clock kits, and I was standing there thinking “I want to make my own clock, but what to use for the face that would really kick some A**? Hmm…” So I didn’t get it. Well now I know! Fabric clock! Boooya!
I’ll see you all on Monday! Have a good weekend!

Hey girly! Way to go on the bike ride — that’s badass. And even better that you’re going to do it tomorrow! Keep riding!
