October Craft Leftovers Monthly in the Shop!
There are certain things about every month that I love, but I look forward to October more than any I think. Getting fresh apple cider, apples, gourds and squash, honey, jams, apple butter, oh the apple butter from local orchards is always a high point. It’s all so delicious and inspiring. The colors, tastes, and smells. The cool weather moving all of us into sweater weather, yet not frigid cold yet. It makes me just want to spend all day in my studio sewing and knitting and drinking spiced cider. The fall days are finally here and this month’s Craft Leftovers Monthly is full of projects and ideas for greeting this lovely time of year. Start out with a nice snack and a hot drink from the recipes in the zine, finish up with making your own Hang Up Pincushion kit to get your fall crafting underway. This little kit has 4 hand pieced blocks, a solid matching fabric, and even the polyfil to stuff it. Buttons, fabric, ribbon and trims round out this great crafty treat.
The Subscriptions for October will be available in the shop from Sunday, September 14th to Wednesday, September 17th. All the subscriptions for this month will be sent out at the same time on Saturday, August 20th.
Each month subscribers receive a package filled with:
+++A kit for a pattern from a previous Craft Leftovers post
+++Reclaimed Craft Leftovers goodies (flat quarters of vintage fabric, buttons, iron on patches, ribbon, etc)
+++Craft Leftovers Monthly – A 10 page zine filled with as much tips on leading a stress free crafty lifestyle, a Craft Leftovers Monthly only project, cutout project cards, and other goodies original to each issue.
Each subscriber’s package is unique because it is made up of reclaimed leftovers and random stashy goodies and therefore a few of each kind only. The image shown is only an example of what each subscriber will receive.
You can see extra pictures of this month’s issue, as well as older issues, here in the Craft Leftovers Monthly Flickr set.
I’m working the rest of the day on getting the new etsy shop set up, don’t forget that the grand opening will be tomorrow. Lot’s of sales, especially on this month’s featured kit. I’ll post all the details tomorrow when I get everything ready to go.
Have a good Sunday! Happy Crafting!
