My friend Linda and I have started meeting up once a month to discuss business and goals and help keep each other on track – for instance she pushed me to sit down and map out a quarter (3 months) of themes for craft leftovers monthly + is holding me to getting ahead in my posting + working on taxes on a regular basis amongst many other things. And like wise for her. I always look forward to and enjoy our meetings (about once a month) because I leave inspired, re-focused, and full of ideas. Well, imagine my surprise when this past Monday she said to me “I have some things for you” and handed me this great stack of books:
Creative Textile Design is all about playing with fiber. From pulling yarn apart to knotting and weaving. Using bulap fabric to weave supplimentary yarns into and then spreading the fibers apart to make various designs. It’s a really interesting book and I really enjoy the way it is written up – focus on playing, discovery, and creativity over just being project based.
Crafts Jamboree is a Jamboree of Crafting for sure. Just about everything from drying flowers to making kits is in here. Including making your own tin can planters and candle holders and working with leather. It is amazing!

Love these glass etched spice jars!
And then there was a verity of smaller books/pamplets. Like this great one on ribbon projects. The headers on each page are hilarious!
And then Blue Ribbon Crochet Pattern Pamplet, some amazing crochet:

A great santa pattern:
And then a book of music by these lovely lady – Linda knows how I love to collage music sheets/make woven christmas cards with them:
I’m still plugging away on adding things to ravelry and the shop. So make sure to check them both out. Oh and I don’t remember if I mentioned this on Monday, but the sale is going on in Green Prairie Fibers and if you order from both shops I’ll combine shipping. And I’m working on the archive more tonight, so more patterns will be added to that. I am going to go clean for a little bit and then get back to it. Check back often! See yo tomorrow!
Happy Crafting!
