Postcards, a promo, and snail mail love!

It’s a commonly known fact that I love mail of the slow kind. So much so that I rented out a PO box (PO Box 1314, Ames, Iowa 50014-1314) just so I could get unsolicited mail from anyone wanting to send it my way. When UPrinting contacted me about sponsoring a post by printing some postcards of my choosing, it was a no-brainer to say yes. I LOVE postcards! I took the opportunity to indulge in my love of mail, by making a postcard just for you! Make sure to go to the end of the post for details on how to get a personalized postcard from me to you!

I was pretty impressed with UPrinting. I made my postcards using Illustrator CS5.5 and their templates worked like a charm. Easy to find on the sight, download, and use. They send you a pdf proof of your print job so you can see where the cut lines will fall and the color meter. All pretty normal for quality online printing companies. The overall job — colors, printing, and paper stock used for the postcards — was great.

Unlike a lot of other online printing companies I’ve done printing with, UPrintings turn around time was fast. Really fast. I’ve waited for a good 3 weeks for postcards for shows from other places and UPrinting printed within 24 hours and shipped within 72. I got them in less than 5 business days from the time I placed my order! And the customer service was great. I got the genuine feeling that they really care about printing, their company’s reputation, and their customers. Another rare thing in other online printing companies I’ve dealt with.

I’m really excited about my new postcards and I’ve printed them up so they have a Christmas promo for Mend it Better. If you’re interested and would like a personalized postcard directly from me AND the promo code, email me at kristin [at] craftleftovers [dot] com. Make sure to include your address and what your favorite crafting technique is!

And if you are in need of some postcards, or any other printing, make sure to head on over for some UPrinting postcards, you’ll be glad you did!

Happy mail sending and printing!
