Ragbrai: Day 1

Well, no crafting yet, but what an adventure we had just getting here. By the time we made it the campsites we all full. No worries though because the people of Algona are awesomely hospitable. We were invited to stay in someone’s backyard. They even made us breakfast! So sweet.

We weren’t the only one camping in yards.

Finally had camp set up and were going for some dinner.

Ended up at the co op – most delicious ham and cheese panini sandwiches.

Today there will be some crocheting! Pictures of my project soon!

  1. I didn't know how close you were. I've been looking here for a while, but didn't notice you were in Iowa. I'm 10 miles north of the border in MN. Algona is less than one hour away, I don't know where your hometown is though.
