August Craft Leftovers Monthly is in the Shop!

Ah, finally back to the crafty goodness! So nice. And the best kind, the bookish kind! This month’s issue of Craft Leftovers Monthly is all about loving books – reading, making, and hauling around.

In this month’s issue you get to hear all about a bookmaker and printer who has dedicated herself to making books – learn about one of my favorite printers – an interview with Susan Angebranndt of Green Chair Press.

Su Mwamba – one of the most amazing zine makers I know – shares with us a great article on making zines.

Me? Well, I worked super hard on this issue. I’ve made a load of fun projects for this issue:

A great tutorial on how to line your own crocheted library bag – the best bag in the world for hauling books, and fine money, to and from the library. And of course the crochet pattern for the bag too.

I also show you how to make two bookmarks that are my go to’s for gifts for my best bookish friends (and myself!).

And the thing that will change your reading crafting life – it’s always a dilemma, to read or to craft! Well, I have just the thing so you can do both. Your own diy book holder. It holds your book open so you can read and craft at the same time. Amazing.

There are quite a few other little treats in this issue – a coloring page, some books to read if you love reading about crafting, my favorite tutorials floating around the internet, and a hilarious edition of the Crafty Life by Fanie – ah, I too have been thinking about taking the soap making plunge.

You can get this month’s issue here in the shop.

And if you know you want to get it each month, sign up for a 6 or 12 month subscription to save a bucket of money.

Don’t forget to check out the kits section – order it together to save on shipping.

Happy crafting and enjoy the bookish delights!
