Welcome Home!

Welcome to the new home of Craft Leftovers!

Make sure to update your rss feed address to https://www.craftleftovers.com

There are several reasons why I have decided to move Craft Leftovers to its own server and whatnot, but mainly it is the ability to have static pages. There are now several new pages in the side bar that provide information on:

++What Craft Leftovers is++
++How to subscribe to and what Craft Leftovers Monthly is all about++
++Corrections – this page will have all the corrections that are made to the patterns as they are discovered++
++Abbreviations – all of the abbreviations used for the patterns can be found in this section, there will also be links to help sites and how-to’s that will help with more complicated sts (Kitchener stitch for knitting and spike stitch for crochet will be one for sure) as well as tutorials that other people have written for things like putting in a liner and fusing plastic bags.
++A Pattern Archive – I’m most excited about this. Each pattern is put into one of six categories (crochet, embroidery, knitting, sewing, no-sew, and combination) Also each pattern has a thumbnail, a link to the original post, and a link to the pattern (either the pdf or download)
++Sponsor CL Info Page

There are also direct links to the shop and the flickr group. The Flickr group is open to anyone who wants to join, it’s a place where you can share the craft leftover projects that you have made.

There will be some improvements coming in the near future too, mainly working my way through the patterns and getting them all into pdfs that are hosted on my server. Also adding helpful craft links to the Abbreviations and Help page.

So welcome! I know you will love Craft Leftovers’ new home as much as I do!
