Quick Knits Club: Another awesome mail day!

The mail has been pouring in lately. On Friday I was so happy when Jason checked the mail and brought back the first package delivered to my new studio address: Lee sent me her awesome Quick Knits Club! The yarn is gorgeous, it’s recycled, respun, and over-dyed. An amazing amount […]

On the Needles: Changing Yarns Around

H2O Slinger Duo ReRelease:: Free Yarn Craft Pattern!

crocheth2oslinger-01
You see my bike has a sloping high bar – which makes it great for when I want to wear a skirt and am riding somewhere, but also makes it so there is no place to put a holder for my water bottle. Awesome and lame all at the same time. So I made myself a knit water bottle holder that I could sling over my shoulder and have water whenever I needed it. So Sad :: Knit Basket Breakdown

I’m facing giving my knitting basket a face lift. Very similar to the story here on Vintage Knitting, my basket is old and broken down and it doesn’t stand up (I have it propped open between the couch and the side table, nice right?). But I really like it. It […]

Hook and Needle Drawer :: ReDress!

needleorganize07

It’s great having a place to put all my stitch markers instead of just putting them into random little pouches and bags and cubbyholes.

I redid the wooden 4 drawer set I had mentioned yesterday. It wasn’t really hard to do but made me feel really good. Kind of set the rest of my day on good footing you know. Here is what I did:

Getting Organized :: Hooks & Needles :: Help!

A pressing thing – hooks and needles. I need a serious storage solution for sure, but I don’t have a lot to spend. I have a little wooden 4 drawer deal, but I think that my circulars would catch on the inside and it would turn into a huge headache. […]
