Hello Iowa!

Strange as it is to be back in town, it’s really nice. It’s quite here. And it smells good. Well, not right now though because I cleaned out the frig and it was filled with moldy chicken/brats/veggies —– GROSS! But last night when I got out of car well after […]

H2O Slinger Duo ReRelease:: Free Yarn Craft Pattern!

crocheth2oslinger-01
You see my bike has a sloping high bar – which makes it great for when I want to wear a skirt and am riding somewhere, but also makes it so there is no place to put a holder for my water bottle. Awesome and lame all at the same time. So I made myself a knit water bottle holder that I could sling over my shoulder and have water whenever I needed it. A few years later I made another one – crochet this time!

Maker’s Apron :: Free Sewing Pattern!

makerapron06 Enter the Maker’s Apron. It’s a studio apron, cooking apron, garden apron, and painter’s apron. Calling it a Maker’s apron just made sense. Put it on and you are ready to go. Well, I tried it on and wore it around (just to see if it felt right on you know) and before I knew it, it was filled up with my phone, pencils, pens, erasers, paper, scissors and all sorts of other things. And I wore it the rest of the night. Then I was like “crap, I don’t want to give this away. I like it to much!”
